SignificanceThis book os important because it shows the importantce of true friendship. I chose this book because it was more of an fantasy book but it was set in modern day I also chose this book because the characters were about my age a little older. This book relates to readers because it is about chacters struggling with acceptance, popularity and friendship it is also about what true friendship really means.
Perspective:
The authors expiriances affected the plot because she could have gone through the same kind of struggles as some of her characters go through on the book. Some of the problems in this book is that kids are turning a serious issue into a game which puts peoples lives and soul an the line.
Evidence
The one part of the book that made me think it was important was the part when Allison discovers that Jane has swapped their lives up so instead of Allisons soul being taken Janes soul is being taken. Another part that made me feel that this book is important is the part where Allison lets Jane win the competition so instead of Jane dying Allison is going to die. Because all these actions have been occuring because each friend wants to let the other live.
Connection:
This work applies to my own life because it is about being a true friend which I am sure that I am to some and some are to me. This book will affect many of its readers because it shows how far people will to be popular even though all they really need is a couple of true friends also it will affect the way they will think about true friendshipbecause it shows haow far a true friend will really go.
Supposition:
Some predictions I can make if they had a sequel is Lanelee comes back in a different form and tries to take over Allison and Janes life. If Allison and Jane never met Lanelee ( a devil folower)then Owen would never had met Jane save Allisons life or better yet Allison and Jane would not even be in any danger anymore.
